My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jax is 14 weeks old and weigh 35 pounds. We have no idea what breed his mom and dad were. We are guessing he is a Black Mouth Cur. He has big paws, long legs, and an adorable face. An adopter should be prepared for a large adult dog.
Jax came into rescue because he was dumped out in the country in rural Missouri with his sister Josie. The pups were on their own, scared and hungry. When Jax was found he weighed 24 pounds and we could count every rib. He has come so far in a few short weeks. Jax is learning to trust humans and is gaining confidence every day. He does well with other dogs and would enjoy another dog to play with and show him the ropes. He is keeping his foster moms entertained with his puppy antics.
Jax is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, and is microchipped. He has had his first distemper vaccination but will require 2 more before he is fully vetted. Jax is doing very well at housetraining but no puppy is 100% trained.
