Scotty (Neutered)'s Story...
"Scotty" is an adorable young adult male Boxer who made his debut at the HSOV on March 11, 2016 after he was picked up in the Marietta Ohio area by the Washington County Dog Warden. This handsome guy has a white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with short floppy ears and classic Boxer features. "Scotty" has tan-and-brown circles around both of his eyes which give him the appearance of wearing vintage aviator pilot goggles :) "Scotty" has a fun-loving, happy disposition and seemed to be an overgrown playful puppy at heart. He is a big fellow who currently weighs 80 lbs. "Scotty" is now available for adoption since he was not reclaimed. He was neutered on March 18, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scotty (Neutered), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
