Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Missy is a beautiful, glossy, muscular, sweet, loving and playful, five-year-old, 40-pound, chocolate and vanilla, female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a loving guardian or temporary foster.
Missy is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets. Someone cropped her ears to make her look tough – but she is incredibly sweet and affectionate with people. She is an exceptionally smart dog who is also incredibly agile and athletic. Missy is a fabulous running/jogging or biking partner.
Missy gets along with most dogs when introduced patiently, but her true love is people of all ages – including children. She loves to play ball or tug of war with her favorite toys.
This darling dog loves to be pet and actually enjoys being bathed. She knows the command “sit” and takes treats extremely gently from your fingers. She is crate-trained and housebroken. Missy is terrific riding in a car and sits nicely on the back seat to enjoy the ride.
Missy is extremely healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative and on monthly preventative. She even had a recent dental. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt Missy, please contact Joanne at 630-231-6860 or
Sue at 630-981-1132.
She is currently kenneled in West Chicago, Illinois, and longs for life outside the kennel and in a real home.
