Kiki's Story...
My name is Kiki (9 mo.) and I am a tabby with a white chest and markings. I came in with Calvin, Gracie and Panda. We are happy to be in a place where we can meet people and find a forever home. We had been left outside which we really where not used to. I have heard the volunteers chuckle and call us divas for fun, as we do not like it to be messy in our cage at all. I have been dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and litter box trained. Please call the shelter adoption line at 705-458-9038 and come and meet me soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiki, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
