Tank's Story...
Hi! I'm Tank! I'm full of energy and love to play with any toy I can get my paws on! I get along great with my other kitty foster siblings and when we are all worn out, I want nothing more than to cuddle up with my foster mama. I love sitting in her lap when she watches TV and cuddling right up by her face when it's bed time. My favorite is in the morning when we all get our morning lovings 😊 I'm a total purr boat and get the engine revving as soon as someone gives me attention! I'm a bit of a talker and love to tell my foster mom all about my day as soon as she gets home from work. I'm very outgoing and would get along with anyone, but I would love to be adopted into a house where I can get lots of love and attention!
Please complete an online adoption application at petpromise.org/adoption-application if you are interested in adopting Tank, and a volunteer adoption counselor will contact you.

PETPROMISE DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. Our pets are housed in volunteer foster homes while awaiting adoption. We do our best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete and includes a mandatory home visit. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Columbus Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
