My story

Shadow was adopted as a 12-week old from Campus Cats back in December 2009. Six years later he was dumped at Animal Control by the only family he has ever known JUST BECAUSE THEY HAD A BABY AND DID NOT KNOW HOW HE WOULD ACT AROUND IT. We contacted the former owners to ask if he ever gave them any reason to be concerned, and they said no, he was a very sweet and companionable cat, but they didn't want to take a chance. They apparently tried to put him outside and he is terrified of the outdoors and of other cats. We have confirmed that he does not like to be around other cats. Shadow needs a person or family who will keep him as a forever cat this time. He needs an indoor-only home, and would be very happy as an only cat. If you are looking for a cat to be your one and only, please consider this gorgeous black cat. He is neutered and current on vaccinations.
