Meet Linus & Petunie
Bonded Pair

This little guy is so sweet and loving - look at his ears!! Linus loves to be around people and would make a great companion. He is up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped, 2year 6months (September) and ready for a wonderful home. She and Linus have become a close bonded pair - she becomes ill when separated, so they must be adopted together. Linus is also  a dachshund mix and a love. Petunia is also a dachshund mix and loves people and other dogs. This adorable little girl will steal your heart. She is approximately 2year 3months (September) & is a dachshund mix - of what we do not know - but it really does not matter - she is precious. Please open your heart and home to Petunia.and Linus

About Animal Protection and Welfare Society

About Our Rescue Group...

A.P.A.W.S. (Animal Protection And Welfare Society) is an all volunteer group of people who are dedicated to ensuring that all pet animals in and around the South Louisiana area live in homes which provide for all of the animal's physical and emotional needs (including daily maintenance, medical care and nurturing) for the animal's lifetime.

Some volunteers provide food, shelter and love in their homes to cats and dogs who have been injured, abandoned or thrown away. Others help by transporting the animals to veterinarian appointments, volunteering on Adoption Days, participating in fund raising activities, mailings, publicity efforts and public education. Because we receive no external funding, we rely on fund raising efforts and donations to fund our efforts.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We will have cats, dogs, puppies and kittens available for adoption
at PetSmart off of Siegen Lane, Baton Rouge, LA. Every SATURDAY from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Our Adoption Process...

An application for adoption is required. Once the application is approved a legally binding contract is signed and an adoption fee is paid.
