My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Murtaugh and this is my mom Riggs. (Our foster mom renamed us Willow and Riley :) )

We are 5 and 10 years young. We have the most beautiful, soft fur and bright green eyes. I love to play, hang out with you and be wherever you are to watch what you are doing. I like to be petted and have my ears scratched, but sometimes I just want to curl up to take a good long nap. Oh… And I like cat treats and cat nip too! My mom Riggs likes to lounge, watch the birds and be petted and especially cuddled. She LOVES cat nip and wet food. She gave birth to 3 other kittens but I was the only one who survived. We have been together since I was a kitten, so we would really need to stay together.

My mom and I were surrendered when our family had a new baby. We didn’t like the new baby at first but we were fine with him over time. When the new baby developed cat allergies at age one, our family was forced to part with us. We sure feel lost away from our home but the volunteers have been really good to us to make us feel at home. But we really did not like the adoption centre so we have living in a foster home and we love it… we just need a quiet home of our own! We would prefer a home with adults or with older respectful children.
