Meet Annabelle!
Annabelle is a sweet girl, with lots of love to give all. She is crate-trained and is house-trained...no accidents since she has been in foster care!
She is good around dogs, cats, children and adults. She does have lots of energy, so her foster family is working on some basic commands such as sit, down, off, no, as well as on proper leash walking. She works for treats or kisses -- hot dogs are her favorite!
Annabelle loves to cuddle and play with toys( well, cat toys as of now!). Her foster family is working on showing her that dog toys are even more fun! She takes her treats gently from your hand and is eager to learn and please. She loves to go walking with her canine foster sister.
Annabelle’s adoption fee is $100 during the month of August, and she is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
