Bouncer's Story...
This smiling little guy is Bouncer, a 4 month old labrador/pit mix puppy that is hoping to smile his way right into your heart and home. Little Bouncer was found as a stray wandering about all alone. Can you believe it? How someone could lose this little loverboy is beyond us, but Bouncer is thrilled to be safe and taken care of, and now he just needs a great home to make his life complete. Bouncer is all puppy. He is fun-loving, goofy, playful, sweet, and still does the puppy-grunt when you pick him up. He loves life and everyone in it, and even seems to love meeting other dogs. Bouncer will need basic training as all puppies do but he's so smart and willing to learn. He already has "sit" and walking well on a leash mastered! Bouncer would love an active family with a nice yard to run and play in. He's not one to lay around and turn into a couch potato anytime soon. Bouncer is ready, willing and able to schmooze his way into your family and be your best friend forever. File#26018 2/17/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bouncer, a Forked River Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
