Amelia has been with the rescue for nearly a year, now, and she REALLY wants to find her furever home! Amelia has come a LONG way since she came to us as feral dog from the Show Low shelter. We couldn't touch her for weeks, she just hid. Now she BEGS for love and cuddles! She is a "house" dog, and has the run of the rescue house along with the other regulars. Amelia is housebroken, and can use the doggie door. She LOVES other dogs, and is a riot. We call her the Gremlin, because she can be quite the sneaky little minx. This funny girl is not even 2 years old! Amelia's perfect home would be a patient one that would allow her time to get comfortable in her new surroundings, and with her new people. She could also use some training, and would enjoy bonding with her people while learning new things. Looking for an INDOOR companion to complete your family?
