My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexi is our 8-10 month old lab mix girl. She weighs about 50 pounds, so she will be medium - large when grown. Lexi is such a sweetheart! She loves everyone that she meets. She is fostered in a home along with her brother, Max, who is also available for adoption.

Gretchen is ready to join her family and share a Wonderful life!

If you are interested in giving Gretchen a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589

It can also be downloaded from our web site @ www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly (901-651-6322) with questions about the dogs or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861

Lexi's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination for certificate of health necessary to travel and transport fee.

Lexi is fostered in Tennessee with her brother. She will travel to her new home by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly pet transport to the northeast and a bi-monthly transport to Illinois / Wisconsin / Minnesota.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
