Sash's Story...
Sash, Neutered Male, 8 Months Old, About 7 lbs., White & Orange Cat

Sash is a beautiful cat. He has the cutest pink nose and is a very warm cat who is not happy to be in his cage. Sash has the most beautiful, soft coat that is so soft you can almost feel it right through his picture. Sash is only 8 months old and was with another cat in his former home. Therefore, Sash would be available to a home that currently has a cat. Sash will make someone a wonderful pet. Hoping he catches the eye of an admirer soon; as he is packed and ready to go to his forever home. He will be a very grateful, devoted friend and companion. Hope to see you soon!

Sash is negative for FELV/FIV. Also, he has had rabies & distemper shots, and is up to date on all vaccinations. Sash has been neutered.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sash, a Waterbury Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
