Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kalinda is a one old border collie mix. Her coat is beautiful, black with bright white and soft, soft, soft. She is just a sweetheart. VERY Smart. Sits for treats. Good off leash and loves to go for car rides.
Kalinda weighs 35 lbs but her ideal weight would be 40-45.
She was surrendered to our rescue along with her 8 puppies after her owners failed to have her spayed as they promised when they adopted her from another rescue.
Kalinda is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with everyone. She is so playful. Loves children and has been raised around cats. She is completely house trained. Kalinda is ready for a HOME.
She has had a recent heart worm test and is heart worm negative.
If you are interested in giving Kalinda a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Kalinda's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, heart worm test, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, certificate of health and transportation.
Kalinda is fostered in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin, Minneeasota.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
