Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cove is such a sweet boy with such a sad story. He is now 8 months and 6 lbs. Cove was brought to us back in October from Brownsville shelter. At only 2 days old he was with his mother and 2 siblings set to be euthanized. Texas Chihuahua Rescue tagged the family and they started on their 4 hour journey to San Antonio. We noticed right away that this little family was very sick. After a couple weeks 2 of the 3 siblings died of distemper survived by their mother Clover and brother Cove, who was the runt. By all of our surprise, and many nights in an emergency room on top of constant vet care and love from his foster mom Holley, Cove fought to live and he won. Today cove is healthy and fine with no known side effects from the distemper. Distemper is a nasty disease and unfortunately can rear it's ugly head many years down the road in several different forms and ways. There is also a great chance he will be just fine and live out many many years with no issues . Cove is more than deserving of a wonderful home that will appreciate and love him.
