My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nordi is currently being fostered in TEXAS.
Nordi is just the cutest little bean. He is a tiny 3.5 pounds and is a chi mix, maybe chiweenie, 4-8 months old. He will be approximately 8-10 pounds fully grown.
He is just a little love. A typical puppy that loves to play with his friends, play with toys, take lots of naps and then play some more. He is very cuddly, sweet natured and gentle.
Great with cats, dogs and well mannered children.
Him and his siblings were rescued from a small local animal shelter here in south Texas.

Once you have filled in an application to adopt please check your email and spam folder for a welcome letter from your assigned volunteer.
Approved adopters please send your hold requests to the email you were given.

Submit Application

Please go to our webpage www.texaschihuahuarescuecanada.org and submit an online application.

2.
Approve Application

We will approve your application by calling your vet and your personal reference. Once you have been approved, it's time choose your pet!

3.
Pay Fee

Payment can be done by e-transfer to txcrcanada@gmail.com

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once your payment is confirmed, we will confirm your Transport Date with you, the day your new family member will arrive in Canada.

Additional adoption info

All existing pets must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Please complete an application at www.texaschihuahuarecuecanada.com Vet check, personal reference and home visit required.
