Elf's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Elf's Story...
Elf was found stray with injured hind legs and had been badly neglected. He is otherwise in good health but requires a wheelchair to get around. Elf is a friendly, sweet, cuddly pup. He looks like a miniature German Shepherd, very handsome! He is ready to go into a home where his new family will look past his disability and see him for the joyful, energetic pup that he is. Won’t you help him on his new journey to a wonderful life? Elf has special needs related to the condition of his hind legs, such as requiring assistance on potty trips but we will be happy to teach his new family how to help him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elf, a Los Angeles Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
