My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody, my name is Hope. I think it is a pretty great name because I never lost hope that I would be rescued, even though I had a very rough start to life. When I was very young, I was abandoned and had to fend for myself. By the time I was found and taken to the pound, I had a broken tail and had become very sick. It was nice being inside, but living in that cold, tiny cage was miserable. Then what I'd been hoping for, for so long, finally happened; a nice lady from Henrico Humane Society pulled me out of that tiny cage and took me to a very nice foster home where I was given all the love and care I needed to recover and heal. Now I'm as good as new and ready to find my very own forever home!

I'm a pretty unique kitty. My foster mom told me that I remind her of a Siamese kitty because of the way I talk and because my eyes are crossed. When she took me to the vet, he said she was right! I'm part Siamese! I have the personality of a Siamese kitty and the good looks of a Tortie! I think that makes me pretty special. I'd say I'm a pretty laid back kitty. I like to spend my days lounging around the house in my favorite sun spot or chatting with my foster mom while she gives me lots of pets and belly rubs. I think I'd be a great addition to any family looking for a cuddly new friend.

I may not have had a great start to life, but now I finally have the chance to find my happily ever after. Is it with you?
