Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Garbo is a 10 pound, 3-4 year old Shih Tzu mix. She adores everyone she meets and happily greets new people. Her favorite things are exploring in the yard, window gazing, car rides, and naps. She likes to roll tennis balls but is still working on fetch. Garbo is a snuggle bug and loves to be held and sit close to her people. She sits perfectly still for baths, grooming, and getting her harness on for walks.
Garbo is great with kids and likes other dogs. Garbo likes cats but does try to engage them in play. She loves to play and would do well with another dog with a similar play style like a Terrier or slightly larger dog. She is a wonderful companion dog with a sweet, calm personality and an inquisitive mind. She requires a fenced yard so she can safely run and play.
Garbo will not tolerate being kenneled. She can be an escape artist and can easily climb a baby gate. To prevent any accidents in the house while her foster parents are at work Garbo wears a puppy diaper. Garbo is a good girl while her foster parents are gone, she just naps on the couch and waits for them to come home.
Garbo was pulled into our rescue from Kansas. She was sitting in a kill shelter and at her euthanasia date.
Garbo is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
