Meet the 2 Litter Gang!

Harvey is an 8 week old (born early February 2016) male brown Tabby. He is house trained, has received his vaccination and wil be neutered as soon as he is old enough. Harvey also has an umbilical hernia which will be corrected when he is neutered.

Harvey is the leader, loves to eat canned food and is very playful

These adorable kittens are from 2 separate litters. They were surrendered to MAR by a good samaritian so we really don't know their background, they needed our help so of coarse we took them in. Since they were surrendered in one big adorable pile of kitten cuteness we don' t actually know which kittens are from the same litter. We don't think it matters tho' cuz they were all snuggled up like one big cuddly family!

Let's help these adorable kittens forget the past and find the love they deserve in their very own forever home!

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harvey - FTA April 2016, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
