Oreo's Story...
**Oreo is located in Plainfield, IL area**

Oreo is an sweet kitten (born 2/2/16) who loves to play toys, likes to chase your toes and plays with his litter mates Miracle and Cookies. Oreo loves to climb into the bathtub and roll around in the tub. He loves to be picked up and cuddled, and will lick your nose and cheek. Oreo doesn’t like wet canned cat food but loves kitten chow. Oreo would love a furr-ever home with kids to play with or his litter mate Cookies to keep him company.

Fill out an adoption application at http://www.illinoisanimalrescueinc.org/adoption-application/view/form.html.

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested, per age; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!
The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Palatine Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
