Buddy's Story...
Hey, I'm Buddy! I am 8-9 years old, and am looking for a quiet forever home. You see, my elderly mom had to enter a nursing home and a kind social worker helped me find a foster home with ADA. It takes me awhile to be comfortable with new people. Let me tell you, I LOVE the couch! I'm gentle, and get along with all the other dogs in my foster family. Oh and everyone tells me my ears are my best feature! I hope you will think about adding me to your family! You can call Amy at 540-396-3666 for more information about me!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Staunton Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
