My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi People!
I’m Carson, a very handsome and loving Bichon boy of about four or five. Buddy would be a great nickname for me because that is just what I am and what I am good at. I am the best buddy you could ask for. I am happy and sweet and I am especially talented at charming my way onto your lap. Dad says I just focus my big brown eyes on you and presto! There I am. Mom says I also have this way of sitting next to you, then leaning my head into you and looking up. (It works every time and I'm not even trying that hard!)
I'm great with the big people called adults and love almost everyone I've met. (I seem to really like men a lot – that must be ‘cause my Dad’s so great! He and I hang out every night doing what Mom calls 'male bonding. Dad calls it watching TV.) Mom says I’m housebroken, like to go on walks, rarely bark and never chew anything I’m not supposed to. I’m learning about toys but don't really play with them yet - I like playing with my doggy foster brother instead! Oh! and the other thing I like to do is swim in the pool. I know - bichons generally don't like water -- but swimming is different in my book!
I'm good in the car and a good communicator too. I'm not big on commands yet but I have already learned 'sit' and 'come' - well that's most of the time. (Mom and Dad have been easy to train and I now have them working to accommodate my every need- well, maybe not every need but most of them!)
Even though I'm a youngster, I have these things called juvenile cataracts. The good news is that I can have this thing called an 'operation' and I'll be able to see completely once again. I'm going to have that operation very soon and my BFK Aunties know that I'll be an even happier and more special boy once that has happened. Right now I'm looking for someone who will love me as I am and help me recover from the surgery. That means getting drops every day for about a month until the nice doctor, I mean vet, says I'm all healed and don't need them ever again. Whee! I can hardly wait!
Dad says I could be great as an only fur kid or would enjoy having a friend, if he was like my doggy foster brother!
So if you live in Southern California and want to meet, please let me know. Mom and Dad are sure you’ll fall in love with me – because I’m just an amazing little bichon.
Looking forward to meeting you soon.
Charming Carson, Your Future Best Friend and Buddy
