Romeo's Story...
Hi there, my name is Romeo. Yes I got the name because I am a lover! I was found as a stray in southern Georgia and never reclaimed. At this time I am in Georgia awaiting my transport up to NJ, so you can meet me. I am a very good young boy who can live with a nice female dog. I would enjoy the company and having a buddy around. I am housebroken and mind well. I have been neutered and have recieved all of my shots.

If you're interested in meeting me, please go to the website at:

www.bigeastakitarescue.net and fill out an online adoption application for me Romeo :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Toms River Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Toms River, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Toms River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toms River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toms River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toms River paves the way for another one to be saved.
