My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JOEY (FORMERLY ATTICUS)
Born August 2012, Male, Purebred Seal Point Ragdoll

COURTESY POST: Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.

Stunningly beautiful Joey was purchased in November of 2102 from a breeder. We will share the exact information with his future family.

He is approximately 15 pounds and, when he feels in the right mood, as is the case with many kitties, he can be quite a cuddly boy. If you want to interact with him and you sit on the floor, he will come to you. He also likes to be close to his human when you are sitting in a chair, so expect to find him cuddled up next to your arm.

His current owner suspects that Joey will probably take some time to warm up to his new family. Joey likes to hang out with his humans in the evening while the family is watching TV. If Joey decides to sleep with you, you can expect a soft touch from his little paw, probably his way of saying, "Hey, I am connecting with you."

Joey has been groomed regularly and knows the routine. He really likes to be combed. He also loves to hang out on his cat condo where you can find him many days taking his afternoon beauty nap.

Joey has been around two German Shepherds, so we know that he is okay around dogs. He is also fine with the grandchildren that come to visit, though he will be a bit guarded initially.

Currently, he is being fed a combination of three different dry foods (information will be provided to their adopters) which is available all the time and primal freeze-dried chicken and salmon or turkey at night, one cube each. That is occasionally supplemented with Wellness canned cat food for variety.

Joey’s current owner had to take a job where they are traveling a lot and aren’t able to properly take care of him any longer.

Please note that Joey’s two pictures were taken at the groomers. They don’t do him any justice, but we wanted to get him posted, so these pictures will have to do for time being. According to his current owner, he actually looks a lot like the kitty in the last picture, which is from the breeder's page where Joey was purchase.

If you would like more information about gorgeous Joey, please contact Frauke at 925-784-8244 or loveallcats7@gmail.com or send an Adoption Application.
Please note that Joey is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with his current owner in Courtland, CA, while being placed in his new home. Adoption Fee Applies.
