Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reggie: 5-7 yr old, male, Brown and White Bicolor Ragdoll
This boy is the second cat that was abandoned at a peninsula college campus. He was left with Remington, the big Maine Coon, who has already gone to his new home. Someone dropped off two very big cats. Ragdolls are actually the largest breed, statistically bigger even than Maine Coons. Rag’s come in all sizes, but Reggie at over 15 pounds is one of the big ones. The real deal.
As a long time foster of Ragdolls, I can tell you what emotional cats they are. They do not take change well. Oh, my goodness: they pine, they mope, they don’t eat, they lie about depressed. Reggie is no exception. It took him a while to get over the betrayal and trauma of being left behind. Outside. These poorly-cared for boys had NO fleas. I don’t think they had ever been outside, nor do they want to go outside when given the option of a catio where they can lie out in the sun.
Reggie is a big baby. A bit sad. His heart is still broken though he is recovering now. I have had him two + months. He so much wants to be loved. Safe. Cuddled. Appreciated. He likes being held except when there is a camera in the room. I expect he would love to sleep with you. He needs to connect emotionally with you every day.
He has medium-length, soft brown and white fur, the bluest of eyes, and a wonderful, sweet, pink nose to set his colors off. His paws are huge, his tail is long, his tummy and bib are all white. We gave him a bath, probably the first in his life judging from his surprise. It made him all fluffy and soft. He hardly fit in the sink with his long tail in the adjacent basin.
Reggie is cat friendly but does not want too much competition for your love. He would probably prefer a home without children. He wants to be the kid. He needs the rituals of the day with his humans. Your company. I don’t know how he is with dogs. I would guess quiet, lazy dogs would be fine. He is not a play monster. We are not sure of his age but he is middle aged. He is a lazy boy.
He eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
