*******

Buddy came to us from a Southern Ohio dog pound. Buddy is fun, happy and gets along with others dogs (as long as they are neutered, he doesn't seem to appreciate un-neutered males. He isn't aggressive with them, just doesn't want them to bother him. ) Although, Buddy has since been neutered, so this may change. Now he is in a foster home where he enjoys playing with their male neutered dog and gets along great with the two young boys as well.

Buddy is super loving and adorable. He enjoys playing but also likes to crawl up in your lap and snuggle. His foster family is working on teaching him to sit, stay, down, come, no, off, potty outside as well as walking nicely on a leash. It appears that he was never trained appropriately but he's very smart and learning quickly. He definitely likes to go on walks and gets excited as soon as the leashes are out. Buddy is also being crate trained when his foster family is away which he does not seem to mind. He does sleep on an ottoman at the foot of the bed at night as he likes to be close to his humans.

Buddy is protective over his food. Therefore, he needs a diligent adopter who understands this trait. If there are other pets in the home, he would need to be fed separately as he continues to learn that he is always going to eat regularly and be well taken care of. He also likes to run and try to sneak out of the house. Therefore, he requires a secure, fenced-in yard. With proper training, he will continue to learn and respond to important commands.
