My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Kroger. Can you guess how I got my name? When I was a baby, someone found me at a Kroger store. I had five happy years as a family cat, but now, due to no fault of mine, I need a new family and someone to love for life. I am a handsome and sweet, 5-year-old, neutered male cat who weighs 18 lbs. I am a big boy! I am litterbox trained. I enjoy companionship and being with people. I love being brushed, scratched and petted, but I really love belly rubs. I'll even roll around on my back, asking for love and more pets. I get along well with other cats, too. I am a really nice boy with a great personality. I am cuddly and snuggable. I am declawed on my front paws. If you're looking for a big loverboy kitty to add to your family, please apply for me today! I am microchipped and ready to go! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
