My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ THE FULL BIO FOR ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS!

Roca came to us around seven weeks old through no fault of her own. This little pipsqueak is cute as a button and smart as a whip!! Roca has spent the past few weeks growing up, getting socialized and soaking up any and all training she can get (she is a border collie after all). Roca is sweet, smart and well behaved. She is laid back, but very playful! She loves to play with other dogs and will happily snuggle up to the cats. She is quite observant and is looking for a family that understands the breed and kids, cats and other dogs are a plus!

Our puppies are always socialized extensively before heading to their forever homes, including homes with other dogs, cats and children. They learn all about crate training, potty training, leash skills and basic manners, including sit. It will be on the new family to continue what we have started, as they are babies and still learning and will need time to adjust to their new family's schedule.

Roca is ready for preapproval! She will be spayed the beginning of May and will be ready to go home soon afterwards. Once approved, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 at the time of the home visit. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications through our website will receive a response once approved. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 and do not consider an electric fence a form of confinement. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Thank you for your understanding!
