PLEASE WELCOME ROXY & BUDDY TO SAVING PAWS! About 10 days ago one of our volunteers happened to be in the shelter parking lot when these 2 were brought in to be left at the shelter by their owners. She couldn’t bear to see them dumped like that and immediately contacted us. How could we say no to this dynamic duo? We couldn’t risk them getting separated or worse. So we have our resident ODD COUPLE! Roxy (the GSD) is about 4-5 years old, and Buddy (the Chi) is about 2 yrs. They are stuck together like glue, so must be adopted together. They seem OK with other dogs, too. Buddy has no fear, he’s the go getter of the two, and Roxy follows along she’s the shy one of the pair. They both listen well, and are fine on the leash. Buddy is also happy to sit in your lap and they are both very sweet and just like love and attention. They were outside dogs, but seem potty trained. They are low to medium energy dogs, and would make wonderful and easy friends for someone looking for INDOOR COMPANIONS! All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
