Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello World,
My name is Duffy and I’m an adorable little bichon of about one year old. My Dad called me Duffy because he loves golf … (while I can’t play golf just yet I’m watching real closely so I can learn!) Mom says I’m called Duffy because it’s more masculine than Snuggles (which is what she could have called me since it describes what I like to do best!)
Dad says I am very gentle and loving, (He says that is a wonderful combination) attentive and an easy boy to have around -- as I get along with just about anyone and everyone. Mom says I never met a person I didn’t like – and I probably even get along with cats.
My bichon foster brother is teaching me all kinds of things – why just yesterday he taught me how to roll over for a belly rub (He says Mom and Dad are suckers for that one every time. I think he’s right ‘cause it worked already!) He also says to tell you that I am great in the car, doing really well with my crate training and that I like to be brushed and groomed. (He says I’m making him look bad ‘cause he doesn’t love that quite as much as I do!)
Mom says I can be quite content just sitting in your lap and being stroked… and that I am very smart. I enjoy my foster home – and love to go for walks! She says I also have the cutest, softest little snore she has ever heard… so when I cuddle up with you and fall asleep, you just might hear me – and that will make you laugh and smile.
As you can see from my picture, I'm small and cute! The most important thing for you to know is that I need company. My perfect home will have people around most of the time – and another dog. That will make my world complete and I will be forever grateful!
If I sound like the kind of guy for you, please complete our application at www.bichonfurkids.org/applications and ask for Duffy. I’ll be practicing my golf game while I wait to hear from you. (Just kidding!)
