Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a mosaic female chinchilla that is looking for her new home. She came to NWI a bit ago and we estimate she was born around 12/1/15. This makes her right about 4.5 months old – now’s a great time to take her home and make her part of your family!
She is a mosaic chinchilla, so she is white with a some grey shading. She is mostly white and has just a little gray shading at the base of her tail and a dark grey eyebrow over one eye. The rest of her is pretty nice and white.
She is a very sweet girl, relatively easy to catch. She does well with being handled and petted and actually seems to enjoy being petted. She sits nicely in your arms when you are petting her. She doesn’t bite.
This chinchilla is currently living alone, and we do not know if she gets along with other chinchillas. If you are curious as to whether she might get along with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
This chinchilla would make a good “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Tradition pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
