I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.
My name is Bourbon and I am a 5 yr. old, 25 lb. beagle boy that was rescued from Maryland. I don’t remember what happened in my past, but I am terrified of people. In fact, I will actually have an accident on you if you try to pick me up. I know it isn’t a great quality to have, but I just can’t help myself. I have been with Penny Angels since Dec. and have come out of my shell to a small degree. I lived in a ‘foster’ home for a month and arrived back in Rescue on April 30 because I was too active for the older dogs that lived there. I might have to live out my days in Rescue, but my last and best hope is to find a home with a patient person (with no children) who is willing to work with me. It is sad to admit, but I will never be the type of dog that can go on walks or cuddle up to you. I will need to find a home with a secure yard because if I somehow find a way to escape, you will never find me. I also need to have a playmate in my new home because I just don’t trust people. If you have a big heart and can accept me as I am, please fill out an application and submit it to Penny Angels today.
