Rosie is one of those little kitties who just loves, loves, loves everyone – humans and any and all 4-legged furries. She is the sweetest kitty ever, extremely easy going, happy, and social. She never gets grumpy or mad.
Her favorite spot is on your chest -- the higher up, the better. If she can rest her head on your chin, she’ll be a happy little purr machine. She loves to be brushed on her face (Her current owner uses a silver comb only when she brushes her.). Rosie really likes to be brushed on her chest and backside. When you brush her tummy or behind, she doesn't like that too much... but just brush her face a bit and all is forgiven and completely forgotten. The trick is to do a few strokes on the belly, then the face and repeat.
She was adopted by one of our organization’s foster volunteers in 2012 at the age of approx. 3 years. Unfortunately, this kind lady has been going through some difficult times and is forced to take a job that will take her out of the country for the next two years. With a very heavy heart, she asked us to help find this adorably sweet girl a forever home where this little treasure can live happily ever after.
When her current owner fostered other cats, Rosie would be very motherly towards the other cats, both young and old, grooming them or being just being friendly. If there is a dominant cat in the household, she will be fine with that, also. She is also good with well-behaved children.
She loves 'Da Bird' (feather on fishing pole) or maybe thick strings. Other toys don't excite her. She likes the cardboard scratchy thing, especially if she can sit on it and stare at herself in a mirror. She also loves to sit on people who are wearing dark clothing...maybe she just wants to leave a permanent impression of her sweetness on them.
She is litter box perfect and was checked by a vet about 2 years ago. She is one of those little sweeties that adapts very well and easily. We are looking for a Persian kitty experienced adopter who will treasure this cutie for many years to come.
