Meet Elroy! He's a 7 pound, 2 year old Chestnut colored Chihuahua. Elroy loves to cuddle, and walks nicely on leash. He also knows how to sit and takes treats nicely. We think one of his best quality is his happy smile. Elroy is good with most small dogs, although he can be a little pushy at times, he thinks he's bigger! He has behaved beautifully in his foster home with the other dogs. He is very playful, he loves to sleep on giant dog beds, play with toys, and chase his foster mom. He takes a lot of naps and is generally very quiet. He is almost fully housebroken, we think just a little more time on a schedule in his foster home or adopter and he'll be all the way there! Elroy will make you laugh all day long. Come and meet him!

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
