Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jaker is my name and loving you is my game! I’m a 5 year old, black Lab, neutered male and I’m a big boy at about 95 lbs. I am simply gorgeous if I say so myself. When you come to know me, you’ll find that I absolutely love people! All I really care about is being by your side. Wherever you are, there I am. What do I like to do for fun, you ask? Like most loveable Labs, I love car rides. I sit quietly in the car and never get in the way. I have no problem just waiting on you while you run your errands. I must admit though…I do love the smells of the air against my cheeks when I’m at the window. It’s my fav! And of course, I love my walks!!! So much so that I have to practice waiting patiently at the door for the walk. Thanks to SCLRR, I have gone through many weeks of training and now have obedience skills that help me practice my best behavior. Do you like to train? If so, then you are a good match for me as I will need a leader to continue with my basic obedience skills and leash training. Once I’m in the house, I am a very good boy. I am potty trained, sleep overnight quietly in my crate, and do not get into anything that isn’t mine. I do like to chase balls and retrieve as well, however I may get distracted by a good smell or two and forget what I’m doing. I currently reside with other dogs however I admit I am selective about my doggy friends. My foster mom says it’s okay, as not all people like everyone they meet as well. So foster mom just reminds me to ignore the barking fence dogs, walk past the neighborhood friends and just stick to my own pack of foster mates for now. She knows I would rather be with my human than other dogs. This is why I’m super duper cute. You will love my flop overs for belly rubs, and my hand shakes at feeding time. I do get anxious sometimes when left alone but I have mastered the crate and can wait for hours until you return. Did I mention…I just love you the human?! If you are looking for a constant companion that adores you, please contact your family rep so we can meet!
