Hi People!
I’m very happy to meet you. My name is Rory and I am a joyful little bichon boy about 18 months old. My foster Mom says I’m a very friendly little guy who loves to play! Tug of war – yes, that’s my game. Soft, chewy, cloth toys are my favorites (and an old sock or two is great as well!) Mom says that makes me ecstatic! She says I smile when I play, too!
While I am very friendly and have a lot of energy, I am also pretty quiet. I can be a very good boy and love to lie down next to Mom. Once I even dragged my bed over next to her just to be closer. (Mom thought that was very cute and touching!) She also says I am very smart, am house-trained and, if I need to go out between my scheduled walks, I always tell her (by going to the door and scratching.)
Even though I can’t talk, I am very good at communicating. If I am sleepy I go into my crate and m
make my ‘nest’ with my blankie and my bed – then I lay down and get ready for my night’s rest. And when I have finished going potty, I turn around and head for home.
I am a very healthy and energetic little guy and each day is just a treasure for me. I love people and do best with adults or older children as sometimes I’m a bit too playful (Mom says we are working on that!)! I prefer dogs my own size as big ones scare me and make me defensive. I love chasing cats -- but they don’t seem to like it as much as I do.
I am playful, healthy, enthusiastic, smart and want to please. I want to be the bestest boy for you because I am just bursting with love and happiness.
