Merle Streep's Story...
Merle Streep is a beautiful girl who was used to produce babies and no longer needed by her previous owner. We found her in a high-kill shelter and could not leave her behind. Contrary to her breed, she does not require a huge amount of exercise. She has a mellow temperament would do well in a semi-active lifestyle. Merle is excellent on a leash and enjoys long walks but she equally enjoys cuddling with her human friends and would be very happy keeping you company on the couch. Merle is ready to meet and bond quickly with her new human family. She would do best in a home as the only dog, and with someone who is home more often than not because she is very much a people dog! She cat tested as though she has lived with cats in the past.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merle Streep, a Los Angeles Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
