Hi there! My name is Misty. I'm the sweetest little kitten ever! I love to play with everyone and everything. Toys are great and other kitties are great - we can chase and wrestle, pounce and chase some more. Big fun! I have lots of siblings who also need homes and someone to love for life. Their names are May, Trixie, Dixie, Willy and Harvey and we have lots of fun together. I also enjoy lap time and cuddles with my humans. I love being petted and having my head scratched, but who doesn't? I have a friendly, outgoing personality. I can run up and down tall cat towers in record time. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Saturday, June 11: CATS ONLY adoption event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills, from noon to 4 p.m.
Sunday, June 26: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m. on the fourth Sunday each month, come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Event dates for 2016: June 11 (CATS ONLY), June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
