Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Queen is a two year Briard. Her coat is beautiful, Red with black and soft, soft, soft. She is just a sweetheart. VERY Smart. Good on/off leash and loves to go for car rides.
Queen weighs 70 - 75lbs.
She was surrendered to our rescue along with her 7 puppies after her owners failed to have her spayed as they promised when they adopted her from another rescue.
Queen is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with everyone. She is so playful. Loves children and has been raised around cats but will bark at them if they are outside. She is completely house trained. Queen is ready for a HOME.
She has had a recent heart worm test and is heart worm positive. Because of her young age, this will not be a problem. She is 100% healthy. She needs to be kept on heart worm prevention. The adult heart worms will die naturally and at the end of 18 months, she should be heart worm free. This is a much kinder, gentler method than immiticide, which kills the heart worms all at once and can have deadly side effects. We will deduct $150 from our normal adoption fee to pay for the 18 month supply of HeartGard.
If you are interested in giving Queen a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Queen's adoption donation is $400 which helps to cover the shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, heart worm test, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, certificate of health and transportation. (Normal adoption fee is $350 + $200 transport fee = $550.)
Queen is fostered in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin, Minneeasota.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
