My name is Tweek and this name suits me well! I am an energetic, fun loving dude that is learning about all of the wonders that this world has to offer. I love to play with other energetic dogs. I’m kind of a weird little guy and I am looking for someone who can be understanding and patient with my excitable behavior. My foster mom currently walks me on a slip lead and I learn really fast. If you don’t allow me to pull on the leash, I won’t. However, I’m smart, so if you don’t set the walking rules, I will start making my own rules. I know how to sit but I don’t sit still for long. It is clear that in my past life, I was starved for attention. When I first got to my foster people, I reacted towards many weird things like guard rails, stationary machinery, signs, cars, kids on bikes. I was as seeing so many things for the first time. BUT when my people allowed me to investigate the things, I became disinterested to those same objects the next time around. I learn quickly and am doing well with such patient fosters. One thing is for sure, I am always full of happiness! The only time I really calm down is when I am in my crate. I calm down quickly in there. When I am left loose and alone, I could get a bit mischievous so having a crate for me to stay in when you're gone would be a good idea. I enjoy playing with other dogs and I would do best with another active dog. I am good with cats and leave them alone for the most part. I will pester them at times but respect them when they stand their ground. I would likely chase a cat if it ran but not to hurt it. I just wants to play with everyone I meet! I have not been around children before, but because I get so excited, it would probably be best if I lived in a home without kids. I can be a bit vocal when I am out in the big bad world, but I’m working on quieting down for my people. So basically, I’m just a little wild man. I’m full of character and I’m one of those dogs that you can’t be sad around. If I can't lift your spirits, than nothing can. I do need some patience and understanding when I am out in the world, but I’m getting better every day. I’m not a dog for the faint of heart. I have a powerful presence and am looking for a partner that will work with me, not against me.
Tweek is a 15 lb., 1 year old, Chihuahua mix. He is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
