GUENTHER is a beautifully freckled, friendly young BC / Heeler mix. We believe he is about 2 years old. He is a smaller boy with a big heart. Plus, he has a smooth deep, dark brown coat you will want to pet all day (no exception taken by Guenther to this activity)! He has a lot of drive and energy, but also knows how to relax. He likes to play with the other dogs in his foster home and is learning pack manners when they rest of the pack lets him know enough is enough. GUENTHER likes to chase balls, though could use some follow-up with bringing it back. He’s also discovered he likes a good session of tug of war.
GUENTHER LOVES people and gets very excited when he sees you. His little body can hardly contain himself (picture big time wiggles on display). He loves to jump in the car and go for a ride, where he quietly watches the surroundings. GUENTHER knows some basic commands, like sit, and he’s getting the hang of “wait”, though again he gets a tad excited from his accomplishment, and may not wait for long! GUENTHER crates nicely and doesn't make a fuss. There are no children or cats in GUENTHER's foster home, but we have been told he likes to chase cats . . . and the occasional lawn mower! GUENTHER has typical border collie exercise and participation needs. His new owner must be able to make time for him and meet these needs for GUENTHER to be happy and flourish. His rucksack is packed and is ready to start life with his new forever owner at his new forever home!
GUENTHER is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
