Facts about Forrest (LE)

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Forrest is one of three cuties that were born indoors to a feral mom. Mom was spayed and released back in her yard. The little ones were fortunate enough to never have to brave the outdoors. Very happy, very playful and very personable, Forrest is a handsome tabby with very long white legs. He has quite a curious personality and loves your attention. He would do great with another kitty as most kittens would, especially since he has always had his siblings to pal around with………… and get in to mischief with.

Forrest is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on "Pet Adoptions" complete the form, and send. We can also be reached at 973-785-1245 or email us at adopt@startpets.net. Please remember—out of state adoptions require additional time for approval; you must be 21 years or older to adopt; an application does not guarantee an adoption; not all animals on our website come to all adoption days.

About Save the Animals Rescue Team, S.T.A.R.T.

About Our Rescue Group...

Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!

It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
