This gorgeous little boy came into the high kill shelter in Georgia with his sister Babe and his friend Harry. He is just a love, and a lot smaller than he looks at under 40 lbs and around 2 years old. This sweetheart of a boy is great with the other dogs in foster, cats and just loves people! He is already house broken and once he completes his heart worm treatment in early June, he will be ready to come home with you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe, a Westport Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Westport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
