Heidi's Story...
Meet Heidi, a precious, 4 year old Terrier mix looking for her forever home! Heidi is people oriented, and loves nothing more than to be near humans. She enjoys spending days in our office, either on a lap helping to welcome visitors, or napping on a bed dreaming of her very own home and family to love. Heidi is good with small and medium dogs, but is frightened of the big ones. She is great with cats, and also with children. She is a pretty laid back girl when inside, but also has a lot of fun running and playing while outside in the fresh air. Her adoption fee is $170 and includes her vaccines, deworming, fecal exam, heartworm test, registered microchip, and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heidi, a Joliet Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Joliet, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Joliet.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Joliet already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
