Dandy's Story...
Dandy is a 3 1/2 year old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix available for adoption. She is full of life and has a fun, playful personality! Dandy has a great time playing with other dogs. She would really love to have a home where she could have canine siblings to hang out with everyday. Dandy is also good with kids. She is tolerant of cats, but may be too excitable for most felines. She is lighthearted, good-natured, and quite lively. Dandy will make a wonderful family companion. 2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Joliet breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Joliet paves the way for another one to be saved.
