Buddy's Story...
PLEASE VISIT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG FOR AN APPLICATION IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING ANY OF OUR DOGS.

This debonair gentleman is looking for someone special with whom he can spend his golden years. Buddy is a 10 year old, 18 pound, purebred Pekingese. He is an easy going guy who is happy to just hang out with his humans. Although Buddy has a pretty low energy level, he really enjoys getting out for his daily walks around the neighborhood. Buddy gets along with other dogs but does not really pay much attention to them. His favorite pass time is napping in a cozy bed and meal time. Buddy is potty trained in his foster home to use potty pads but will also potty outside when taken out. We know Buddy’s perfect forever home is out there somewhere just waiting to meet him.
Our adoption fee for Buddy is $150 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines and deworming.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Irvine Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
