Lola is a beautiful, traditional black and tan, female, German Shepherd. She just turned 5 years old and is registered with the AKC. She is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.
Lola was an owner surrender due to her previous owners concern regarding Lola being around small children. Due to Lola being a dominant dog, I also feel that very small children would not be an ideal situation for her because she may not tolerate a small child in her space. However, she is not around small children in her foster home and I do not know how she will be around small kids, this is just a precaution statement.
Lola bonds very well with people and is such a very happy go lucky girl. She is a real pleasure to have in my rescue. She needs someone that has had German Shepherds previous and truly knows the breed.
She doesn’t really like to be around other dogs, however if she is around other dogs she needs to be the Boss. She does play very well with a couple of her foster brothers and sisters. She is very selective when it comes to choosing a play mate. :) I feel that Lola would do great in a home where she can chill out and enjoy long walks in the park. When she sees her leash she is ready to go! She also enjoys car rides!!

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, medical care, degree of personalized training. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
