My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar is a beautiful, solid white, female, German Shepherd. She is approximately 1 1/2 years old. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Sugar is a classic case of neglect. She was purposely bred only for her puppies. One of her puppies was in rescue and was adopted into a very loving home. It is now Sugar’s turn to find hers.

Sugar is a very petite/small shepherd so no need to worry about her getting too big for the household. She walks GREAT on a leash, loves car rides and responds very well to basic obedience. She is an amazing girl and truly deserves a forever home.

She is very gentle and loves to learn new things. I feel that Sugar would make a great companion to someone that is sweet and kind like she is. She does prefer woman over men and this could be as a result of her past upbringing. She does great with soft handling and large amounts of praise.

Her new family needs to be aware that she has had a difficult past, but will overcome her insecurities with time, patience and some much needed love.

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, medical care, degree of personalized training.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption. Located in Middleburg, Florida.
