Hi, my name is Tucker. I’m a total sweetie at 12 weeks old and 12 pounds (so far). Like my bro Sam, I’m a lab/beagle mix so it’s hard to tell how I will grow (up or out!). I love hanging out with my foster family and everyone in the rest of the neighborhood. I like to meet other new dog friends and would like to have a furry brother or sister in my new home. I’m okay with cats too, as long as they might play with me like a dog-friend does.

I am quite a cuddler once I have gotten my puppy energy out. I want to grow up to be a very good boy and I am working really hard on potty- and crate-training and doing well.

If you are ready to add a playful puppy to your family, please go to www.momsrescueva.org to see if we are a match!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tucker, a Richmond Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Beagle for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Beagle breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
